Title: ‘Strangers’

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

Climbed every mountain top
Stared down the sea
Laid down the life we knew
Just to be free

When we were all just strangers here
Alone to face the new frontier

more
Don’t know what you believe
Don’t know your name
Don’t know where you come from
Or why you came

And still we’re all just strangers here
Alone to face the new frontier

Pave over every road
Chop down the trees
Push out the great unknown
Just to be free

And still we’ll all be strangers here
Alone to face the new frontier

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Josh Mease, originally from Houston, Texas, lives in Brooklyn, where he can often be found exploring the abandoned corners of the city, finding peaceful solace in cemeteries, empty swimming pools, and abandoned waterfronts. His debut LP, Wilderness, is the result of these wanderings. Find out more at www.Joshmease.com
